Suzuki Shines - Active Citizenship Initiative for December "Comfort & Joy Care Packages"

“Comfort & Joy Care Packages” and “Winter Clothing Collection”

We are excited to bring forth our Active Citizenship School-Wide Initiative for the upcoming holiday season – “Comfort & Joy Care Packages.”

We are again collecting a variety of items that will be bundled into small care-packages for the clients of the Mustard Seed. Our mission is to bring joy and a message of Suzuki School Spirit to Edmonton’s less fortunate community.  Last year we were incredibly successful in our collection and were able to send 88 Comfort & Joy Packages to the Mustard Seed.

Items can be brought to school starting Monday, November 27th through to Friday, December 15th and be placed into the collection boxes located to the front of the school.

Suggested items:

Bagged candy/chocolate                              Toothpaste

Cough lozenges                                              Toothbrushes

Packaged dry fruits                                       Granola bars/Protein bars

New mittens/gloves/socks/scarves              Hand Lotion

Small tissue packages                                     Deck of Cards

*In addition Gr.1 students will be collecting winter clothing for the Bissell Centre.

Thank you for your support and contributions to our cause.  Mrs. Grant & The Active Citizenship Staff Committee
