Beginning of Year Requirements

(required by September 30)

All the following documentation must be submitted to the Principal, Sharon Goulet, by September 30 unless otherwise indicated:

  • Year Overview
  • Daily Schedule
  • Allocation of Time per Subject Area
  • Projected Field Trips for the Year (Principal’s copy)
  • Projected Field Trips for the Year and costs per student (Administrative Assistant’s copy)
  • Projected Professional Development Plans including Professional Growth reflecting goals and objectives based on an assessment of learning needs by the individual teacher, showing a demonstrable relationship to the teaching quality standard, and taking into consideration the education plans of the school, the school authority and the Government.  Please refer to Alberta Learning Policy 2.1.5 for further information if needed.  Use the format provided.

 

End of Year Requirements

(required by mid June)

All of the following documentation must be submitted to the Principal, Sharon Goulet, by June 15 unless otherwise indicated:

  • Progress Reports must be given to students and duplicates for the Student Record files are to be handed in to the Administrative Assistant for filing.
  • GLA information is to be completed (Assistant Principal).
  • Teacher satisfaction survey questions are to be filled out.
  • Education Plan information and AISI testing results are to be completed.
  • Inventory list of all school owned books and resources are to be updated.
  • All materials, artwork, poster etc. are to be removed from the hallways including bulletin boards in the hallways.
  • All cubical, lockers, boot racks, desks are to be emptied, and wiped down.  Please send all academic materials home with your students.  They are important.  Our work is valued.  Personal data including student pictures, addresses etc. should be sent home or shredded if needed.
  • Any student item left behind is to be bagged, labelled GOODWILL, and then left by the “Lost and Found” box in the east hallway.
  • Any broken, unsafe furniture or unwanted item please label DUMP and put in the hallway.
  • All keys are to be handed in to Heather if you are not returning.
  • The presence of all staff at a farewell luncheon is appreciated.
  • Updated Field Trips for the Year.
  • Updated Professional Development.
  • Completed attendance.
  • Student marks and averages for CAMP math and science tests.
  • Student marks for HLAT reading and writing tests.
  • 1 bulletin board decorated to showcase student work in the school before school begins in the fall.
